Job Title: Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:

Profit Analysis – Corporate/Regional/Functional Finance: — Develop forecast, budget and business plan; support month close activities and provide variance explanations

Exchange Analysis – Corporate/Regional/Functional Finance: — Develop forecast, budget and business plan; support month close activities and provide variance explanations; develop foreign currency exposures; support corporate hedging strategy

Head Count Analysis – Corporate/Regional/Functional Finance: — Develop forecast, budget and business plan; support month close activities and provide variance explanations

Revenue Analysis – Regional Finance: — Develop forecast, budget and business plan; support month close activities and provide variance explanations; develop retail/wholesale contribution margin reports by vehicle line

Expense Analysis – Regional Finance: — Develop forecast, budget and business plan; support month close activities and provide variance explanations

Balance Sheet Analysis – Regional Finance: — Develop market/regional balance sheet; analyze inter-company balances; provide variance explanations

Requirements:

Candidate must be Qualified CA/CIMA/ICWA/MBA (Fin) from reputed B-School with 2+ years of relevant experience

Solid grasp of business concepts, drive for results, and quantitative / critical thinking skills

Ability to maintain data integrity/accuracy and use data to identify and solve problems

Leadership (integrity, drive, courage and initiative) in personal and professional experiences

Plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks within a defined time period

Willingness to travel on overseas assignments (on need basis)

Ability to work in various shifts

Michael Boneham is the President and Managing Director at Ford India since June 2008. He reports directly to John Parker, executive vice president, Asia Pacific and Africa.

Prior to this position, Michael was the executive director – Operations at Ford India, where he has been responsible for Product Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Quality. Michael has more than 24 years experience in the automotive industry, with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Ford’s global manufacturing and operations.

In his role, Michael is responsible for the successful and ongoing implementation of Ford Motor Company’s aggressive expansion plans in India, including setting up a new engine manufacturing facility to support local and export requirements, doubling the capacity of the vehicle assembly facility and launch of new vehicles for the market.
